Join us for the Monmouth\/Ocean Breastfeeding Consortium’s 31st Annual Breastfeeding Conference on Tuesday, August 5, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 1:45 PM. This year’s virtual program, Connecting Evidence, Practice, and Community<\/em>, brings together three dynamic speakers to explore the issues shaping lactation care today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laurel Wilson, IBCLC, RLC, INHC, BSc, CLSP, opens with “TikTok Times,” a look at how social media influences parents during pregnancy and lactation. Melissa Cole, MS, IBCLC, PMH-C, follows with “Critical Thinking: Herbal Options in Lactation Care.” The day closes with Jennifer Day, IBCLC, presenting “Reclaiming the First Food: Confronting Social Injustices in Breastfeeding and Human Milk Feeding.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference offers 4.5 L CERPs, and nursing contact hours have been submitted to the New Jersey State Nurses Association for approval. Registration is $30, and a recorded version will be available to registered participants from August 6 through September 5, 2026, so you can attend live or catch up on your own schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
