Monmouth/Ocean Breastfeeding Consortium

Conference

Join us for the Monmouth/Ocean Breastfeeding Consortium’s 31st Annual Breastfeeding Conference on Tuesday, August 5, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 1:45 PM. This year’s virtual program, Connecting Evidence, Practice, and Community, brings together three dynamic speakers to explore the issues shaping lactation care today.

Laurel Wilson, IBCLC, RLC, INHC, BSc, CLSP, opens with “TikTok Times,” a look at how social media influences parents during pregnancy and lactation. Melissa Cole, MS, IBCLC, PMH-C, follows with “Critical Thinking: Herbal Options in Lactation Care.” The day closes with Jennifer Day, IBCLC, presenting “Reclaiming the First Food: Confronting Social Injustices in Breastfeeding and Human Milk Feeding.”

The conference offers 4.5 L CERPs, and nursing contact hours have been submitted to the New Jersey State Nurses Association for approval. Registration is $30, and a recorded version will be available to registered participants from August 6 through September 5, 2026, so you can attend live or catch up on your own schedule.

Nurses, physicians, lactation consultants, peer breastfeeding counselors, nutritionists, and other health care professionals are all welcome. Register today at www.cjfhc.org.
